Road Haulage (1980) Ltd was formed way back 1980, was among very
few transport company in Tanzania. The company started with three
trucks and ten employees. Today it is one of the largest Transport
company with branches in Mbeya and Tunduma. Its huge fleet of truck.The
company expanded after 1985, when Government liberalise trade in
Tanzania.
In
1990 and 1991 only it purchased 25 brand new American bsed International
Trucks under expansion program. Time to time the fleet is increasing,
The company has been booming with Transit Cargo to neighbouring
countries such as Zambia, Zaire, Malawi, Rwanda and Uganda. The
company is locally owned and was actually incorporated in 1980.
The
company is associated with backbone Clearing and Forwarding Company
called Oceanair Freight Ltd and Container Storage company called
Kurasini Container Terminal ltd.
